Jeff Ross Wiki Biography
Jeffrey Ross Lifschultz was born on 13 September 1965, in Springfield, New Jersey USA, into a Jewish family, and as Jeff Ross is a comedian, comic, writer, director and actor. He is almost certainly best known for his performances of what might be called ‘insult comedy’, and one of his nicknames is The Roastmaster General. Jeff’s career as a comedian led him to the TV industry and allowed to perform in various events. While Jeff Ross is such a talented comedian it is no surprise that Jeff’s net worth is high.
How rich is Jeff Ross? Sources estimate that Jeff’s net worth is over $750,000, although it will probably become higher in the future, as Ross is not yet 50 years old and shows no sign of slowing down in his career as a comedian.
Jeff Ross Net Worth $750,000
Jeff Ross’s teen years were probably very hard for him as his mother died when he was 14 years old and his father passed away when he was 19. Although it was a painful experience and many teenagers would have fallen into depression, Jeff finished Boston University’s College of Communication and began his career. Jeff Ross started as a comedian by participating in open mic nights in New York City. Later he appeared in the movie “Celtic Pride” directed by Tom DeCerchio, in which Jeff had an opportunity to work with such famous actors as Daniel Stern, Jimmy Flaherty, Dan Aykroyd among others. Maybe this movie didn’t add much to Jeff Ross’s net worth, but it was a good start for him.
Jeff followed up with many other appearances in films and TV shows, of which “Six Feet Under”, “Showtime’s Weeds”, “The Sarah Silverman Program” are only a few on the list. Jeff also participated in “Dancing with the Stars” with his partner Edyta Sliwinska; unfortunately their couple was eliminated first. The animated version of Ross appeared in the animated television series “Batman: The Brave and the Bold”, and you can hear his voice in the opening of the episode “Crisis: 22,300 Miles above Earth”. All these appearances contributed steadily to Jeff Ross’s net worth.
In 2005 Jeff debuted as a director, of documentary film “Patriot Act: A Jeffrey Ross Home Movie”, in which such comedians as Drew Carey, Rocky LaPorte, Kathy Kinney and Blake Clark appeared, and which was directed and written by Jeff himself. The acclaim of this film added to Ross’s net worth, and it also received an award at the Montreal Comedy Festival.
Now Jeff Ross has his own show which is called “The Burn with Jeff Ross” and has gained a lot of attention. Also he is still famous for his celebrity roasts, and continues to do them while being Roastmaster General at the New York Friars’ Club. Ross has made roasts of such famous stars as Pamela Anderson, Donald Trump, William Shatner, Gene Simmons and many others, which have had a considerable impact on Jeff Ross’s net worth.
What is more, Ross wrote the book “I Only Roast the Ones I Love: Busting Balls without Burning Bridges”, in which he shares his experiences about writing and putting on “roasts”. It is clear that Jeff Ross is a very talented person who will continue his work for a long time in the future, and that eventually Ross’s net worth will grow bigger and bigger.
