Jeffrey Dahmer, or “The Cannibals of Milwaukee” as they came to be known, was the subject of Ryan Murphy’s latest true crime drama and killed 17 men and boys, many of them Black, Asian and Hispanic. The murders occurred between 1978 and 1991 when he was eventually arrested.
Dahmer tells the life story of Jeffrey Dahmer, which ends with his assassination by cellmate Christopher Scarver. However, many of the prequels and details surrounding Dahmer’s death have been left out of the Netflix series. Christopher Scarver reportedly killed Jeffrey Dahmer when both were inmates at Columbia Correctional Facility in Portage, Wisconsin. Scarver was born in 1969 and dropped out of high school. He trained as a carpenter in the Wisconsin Conservation Corps, eventually getting a commitment from Director Edward Patts.
