How did Lewis Capaldi get found?

Ryan Walter, his manager, was the one who first heard of him when he was 18 years old thanks to a tape Capaldi made on his iPhone in his bedroom and posted to SoundCloud. Walter travelled from America to Britain to see Capaldi perform live the day after first getting in touch with him. That is how he got found.
